Designing a Lifestyle Around Candlelight

My most favorite part of the day is whenever a candle is lit. Candles do more than just light a room—they illuminate a way of living. I believe that a candle is more than an accent on a coffee table, it’s what actually brings that table to life. Believe it or not, candlelight has a way of shaping a room. Candles set the tone for how we move through our homes, how we feel in our homes and how we elevate every day.  

We often think of candles as accessories. But what if they were foundational? What if you began designing your home—and your habits—around the presence of that tiny light?  Even when travelling I take candles with me. Hotel rooms, no matter how nice, still feel unfamiliar. The candle instantly warms the room and creates a sense of home for me. 

The scents we chose for our spaces say something about our life. They reflect what we enjoy and what makes us feel at home. Some people love the scents of pumpkin or warm baked cookies because it evokes nostalgia and creates a sense of coziness.  I, on the other hand, prefer candles that have refined fragrant notes because they make me feel elegant -even if I'm just lounging at home in pajamas. 

Because in the end, a candle to me isn't just decor, it's a decision to live with more glow and more presence. And true luxury in life isn't about who you are or what you are wearing, it's simply about how you chose to feel in your own space.
