My Story
I lived in Denmark with my husband and practiced a Danish concept called ”Hygge” (hoo-gah). It describes a feeling of cozy contentment and well-being created through simple comforting moments like sipping warm tea or lighting a softly glowing candle. In my own experience candles have always been the heart of my hygge moments. There is something about the gentle flicker of light and the comforting scent that instantly transforms a space into a sanctuary. It creates a feeling of warmth and being present.
Over the years I felt underwhelmed by the sameness in candles: Predictable scents, high prices and fleeing impressions. I wanted more- something luxurious and affordable but with depth elegance and soul. My travels to Paris, a city that lingers in both artistry and fragrance, deeply inspired me. I was allured to Parisian perfumiers, and I discovered a new way of thinking of fragrances – less as a product and more as an experience.
My candle line was born from two deeply personal experiences. One taught me the value of stillness and presence, the other, the allure of indulgent experience. Together, they inspired me to create a collection that blends luxury with intentional comfort.
